Spring + Summer Front Porch Decor

Afternoon, friends! I wanted to share my Spring front porch decor that can easily transition into Summer. There’s nothing I love more than a decorated front porch! It’s the first thing guests see when they enter your home, and I think it’s important to make sure that it’s festive and inviting! Here are the pieces I used this Spring that can easily transition into summertime.

First up is the focal piece – the pink bee doormat from Grandin Road! This is not your typical scratchy doormat material, but rather more of a soft weave outdoor rug. If pink isn’t your thing it’s also currently available in a denim blue color that is equally as pretty. I purchased the smallest size, but there is a larger option available. I layered it on top of a black and white strip accent rug from Target. This one is not outdoor, but it’s on my covered front porch and it has held up just fine. I sprayed both with my trusty UV protectant spray and they were good to go! Quick note on the UV spray. Only spray a light layer and allow to dry fully (otherwise it can get slippery).

Next up is my tulip wreath from one of my long-time favorite Etsy shops, Gabriel Mercantile (previously Wreath Dreams). Mine is all pink but she has many different color combinations available. The monogram is an optional add on and there are two styles available to choose from!

Lastly are my black urn planters. I purchased mine from my local Lowe’s but I found the exact same ones on Amazon! When choosing plants, keep in mind the lighting conditions of your porch area. Mine is shaded the majority of the day, so I went with ferns and impatiens.

Well, that’s everything! I hope it was helpful. I wish I could link my little welcome sign, but it was a craft market purchase and the sign hanging post was a DIY project. I really do think the black and white base rug is a great investment for your porch. You can easily use it to layer your other seasonal doormats! Just don’t forget the UV protectant spray since it’s not technically an outdoor rug.

Stay tuned for my patriotic front porch decor coming soon! Be sure to follow along on Instagram so you don’t miss it.
