First up are my entryway mirrors. I’ve got three of them hung side by side in the black finish, but they also come in white, silver and antique bronze. Mirrors help reflect light and make any space feel bigger, and they’re the perfect decor addition to any entryway. Shop them below!
Next are these drawer organizers that come in a set of four and are available in numerous colors. These are GREAT for organizing those messy bra, underwear and sock drawers. These are one of my favorite buys from last year and the price is fantastic. No more digging around for things and everything is displayed perfectly for easy access. Do yourself a favor and get these ASAP. Really good for kids, too! Just read the THOUSANDS of rave reviews!
Another favorite buy has been this mattress topper. Our mattress is pushing 9 years come this May. We really need a new one, but are trying to delay the expense as we have a lot of other things ahead of it on our purchase priority list. I came across this mattress topper with tons of great reviews and decided to give it a go. Let me just say that our bed is 1000x more comfortable than it has ever been. This baby is life changing for your sleep. Even my husband is obsessed with it. This purchase will easily give us another year or two with our old mattress, and I’ll probably continue to use it even after we get a new one, it’s that good!
Another great product to help keep you organized in the meal planning department is this magnetized and perforated meal planning/grocery list. I’m responsible for the meal planning and groceries at our house. And I hate it… It’s the worst! Always looking for new recipes to try to keep things interesting gets tiresome, but it’s one of my Mom duties so I keep at it. This list makes it so easy to keep track of what we’re eating each week as well as keeping a running list of groceries we’ll need for the following week. Every weekend I sit down and plan out our meals for the week and make a grocery list. Then you can tear off the grocery list side and take it with you to the store. I pop the pad back onto the fridge and then I can always see what’s next to cook and then I can jot things down on the grocery list side as we run out of things. It is seriously the best, and you can get it with or without a magnet! It comes in two different designs as well.
Next up is this hammered copper kitchen utensil holder. I was in need of a new one and loved the look of the hammered copper. This one is a nice size and holds a lot of utensils. We cook a lot so this was a necessity. If you’re in the market for some updated kitchen decor, this is a good one!
Keeping up with the kitchen gadgets, next are these silicone cooking utensils with acacia wood handles. We desperately needed new cooking utensils and I purchased these this past September. They had hundreds of good reviews and the price was great, so I decided to give them a go. After six months of cooking with these (and we cook often), I can vouch for their quality. The silicone isn’t cheap and floppy and the acacia wood is not only pretty, but a renewable resource and naturally durable and water resistant. Much safer than plastic. These are a really great buy, and look great sitting in the copper utensil holder above!
One more kitchen gadget for you. Like I’ve mentioned, we cook a ton at our house. We like to keep multiple cooking oils on hand new the stovetop, and the bottles they come in are too bulky and hard to pour. We recently ordered these OXO good grips chef’s squeeze bottles and wow are they good. Much better quality than the cheaper plastic condiment bottles we were previously using and the caps are much more secure. We ordered three of the large sizes and keep olive, avocado and canola oil in them. They also come in sets or you can order various sizes. This is a must have for your kitchen!
Next up is this really handy wireless weather forecast station. This sits on our kitchen counter and it comes with a little sensor you place outside that reads the outdoor temp as well as indoors. We love the humidity readings (where are my fellow Houstonians at?) and my kids love to see what the weather is forecasted to be each day. It displays really great graphics that are easy for them to understand and decipher. It’s nice to be able to glance at this and see how hot or cold it is outside without having to pull out my phone.
Let’s head outdoors and talk about these great storage chests. We were in desperate need of outdoor storage last summer, and we ended up ordering two of these in the desert sand/brown color. We use one to store pool chemicals and the other for kid’s toys. These have been a lifesaver in keeping things organized outside. Now all of the outdoor kids toys are out of sight!
Last product! And this one is random and not really relevant unless you’ve recently purchased a new home, but really REALLY helpful nonetheless. When we moved last spring, the house we bought from the original owners had also had renters in it, so we were getting TONS of mail that wasn’t ours. It was getting really annoying. I found this return to sender stamp and we’d stamp it on all the mail we were getting that wasn’t ours and stick them back in the mailbox. It dramatically reduced the amount of mail we were getting, and now almost a year later, it’s almost non existent! I figured I would share this tip in case you’ve recently purchased a home and are having the same issue, or know of anybody else that could use this tip!
Well, there you have it! My current top ten favorite Amazon home products as of Spring 2020. I will probably post these lists quarterly so you can stay up to date on my favorites. There’s nothing better than Amazon Prime, am I right?! Happy shopping!
